Getting Started

Using PSR Design Software

After accepting the terms and conditions, you will be directed to the program. You then input your specific data in the queries. After you complete these entries and select “Calculate PSR Studrail,” you will be routed to the results "Print Page." Here you can print the results, save the data inputs and/or select "New Design" to be redirected back to the input stage.

In order to get full access to the website and the software, you must register your company with Nelson Stud Welding, Inc. You can do so by clicking the "Create a New User Account" tab in the left column and following the steps to complete the registration process.

Create a New User Account

Before you can register your company, you must create a new account. This consists of an e-mail address (which will be your User Name), password, and a security question with answer. The Password is very secure, and must be a minimum length of 7 characters, including one non-alphanumeric character. The Security Question/Answer is a tool used if the Password is misplaced or forgotten. It enables you to recover your password by answering a pre-arranged personal question.


After creating a new user account, you are to click the "Continue" button, which will direct you to the User Profile page. There, you will then have to supply your company's information. After completion, the information will be submitted for validation and approval. Within a few days, you will be notified by email if your account has been approved.

Seeing User Data

All user data is stored in a database that you can access and see past entries. Click under the "User Data" tab to access the program's data.
